Yes. A salt cell makes chlorine, it does not balance water. You still need pH and alkalinity balancers, stabiliser to stop the sun burning off what the cell produces, and algaecide when conditions call for it.

Salt pools also scale faster on the cell, so a stain and scale product is worth keeping on the shelf.

Cloudy usually means fine particles the filter is passing straight through, and it is rarely fixed by more chlorine.

Check pH and alkalinity first, then use a clarifier or filter aid. If the water is cloudy and also has a green tint, treat it as algae instead and shock it.

Sealed and stored properly, most granular products and tablets hold their strength for two to three years. Liquid chlorine is the exception it starts losing potency within weeks and should be bought in the quantity you will actually use.

Store everything sealed, dry, out of direct sun, and never next to each other if one is an acid.

No. Most sanitisers and shock are classed as oxidisers by the Department of Transportation, so they travel by ground only. That also means we cannot offer overnight or express service on them, and we do not ship internationally.

Unopened products can be returned within 30 days. Chemicals cannot be returned once the seal is broken, for safety reasons there is no way to verify what is in an opened container or how it has been stored.
